How quickly can my building be built?
This depends entirely on several factors, ie which route you wish to contract us under.
1) Supply only of internal PODS and roof
(if you are a buidler already or private individual utilising your own builders)
We are able to complete a relatively large GF and FF POD and single loose supply roof trusses within two weeks at most from approved and signed off drawings, well under the time for your footings and concrete slab being completed allowing us time to have your units ready to be delivered at a moments notice.
2) Supply and build internal PODS and traditonal brickwork exterior.
Weather is the major varying factor as mortar cannot set and builders cannot build in the rain and wet. All projects are of different size and complexity and require a varying time to complete. We will endeavour to advise an estimated completion date.
3) Supply and build internal PODS and Brick Slips exterior
Should we get decent weather the day of delivery and following days with a brick slip option a standard GF and FF dwelling could be built within a week or two.
4) What are brick slips?
Brick slips look the same as normal bricks from the front elevation but are 25 mm wide. We fix these to a plywood exterior in our factory and deliver the whole sheet of bricks on our wagon ready for immediate lifting into position by crane and fixing to the POD.
5) What are payment terms?
Generally we would ask for 25% in advance to contribute to the purchase of materials and drawing time expenses, 50% two weeks prior to the agreed delivery date, 15% on day of delivery and 10% on 30 days after works are completed.
6) How wide can my building be?
We are able to transport buildings up to 6 meters wide using special transport licence from our sub-contracted hauliers
7) Is this product right for me?
Our product, along with all other modular house builders, will only suit certain applications. The main stumbling point being access to your site. If access is tight then we may not be able to supply a modular construction house to your site because of the physical limitations of getting around corners with a long and wide vehicle etc however if this is the case then we can quote you for a timber framed development or a traditional brick and block construction.
8) How much does it cost?
Prices can start from as little as £380.00/m2 - £750.00 / m2 depending upon numerous factors ie size and width of building, qty of and size of rooms, finishes, additions such as brick slips, roof direction, foundations and access.
